Margaret Bridges

Margaret Bridges is the Director of Child Development Projects at PACE. She is currently managing the evaluation of the Bay Area Child-Care Retention-Incentive Programs. Previously, Dr. Bridges completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, during which she studied the social and economic processes in early childhood that predict later academic problems, as well as poor mental and physical health. Dr. Bridges received her B.A. in philosophy from Claremont McKenna College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of Virginia.

Doug Kearney is PACE's Administrative Specialist and Budget Manager. Mr. Kearney received his B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from San Francisco State University, and has been at the Graduate School of Education since 2000. Previously, Mr. Kearney provided administrative support to the Graduate School of Education's Principal Leadership Institute.

Sitome Mebrahtu is PACE's Administrative Assistant and Assistant to the Directors. Ms. Mebrahtu received her B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, Ms. Mebrahtu was a student and volunteered in various domestic and international non-profits addressing access to higher education for all. She has also traveled to East Africa to volunteer providing solar electricity and improved stoves systems to rural villages.
